Cloud Engineer sought by a Lighting manufacture in Austin, TX. Design, deploy, optimize and maintain AWS cloud architecture for smart connected product lines; design, develop and integrate secure cloud solutions; coordinate system-level security and privacy testing; develop, maintain, and test business continuity plans for cloud resources; monitor, analyze and report on cloud resource requirements; periodically evaluate existing and future AWS capabilities for architectural changes; coordinate with mobile application developers to integrate IoT products with AWS cloud and local WIFI networks; assist IoT hardware engineers to develop, test and troubleshoot prototype designs involving underlying technology layers through knowledge of networking stack technologies.
Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or closely related, plus 5 years of Software design and development experience with cloud, networking, and database applications; must include 2 years of experience with Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito, Python, C/C++, and network programming.
